New Multi Use Games Area for Rottingdean

Connor’s Court is the New Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) built on the site of a former open air swimming pool on Rottingdean under cliff walk, East Sussex. The facility comprises an all weather sports court with 5-a-side football, basketball, cricket and two mini Brazilian football pitches for younger children.

MacConvilles provided Building Surveying services, taking initial ideas, developing them and obtained Planning Permission for the scheme.  We prepared the detailed specification against which the building works were managed and overseen on site.

Connor’s Court is located in what is a very aggressive seaConnor's Court Rottingdeanfront environment.  The surface and materials for the court were carefully chosen to be long lasting with minimal need for maintenance.
