The refurbishment of The Library at the University of Sussex.

Designed by Sir Basil Spence the University of Sussex Library is a magnificent Grade II red brick building. Folk law maintains that the roof arches of the building represent the open books housed inside.

Services:

MacConvilles provided Cost Consultancy for the internal alteration and refurbishment of the Library.  Our role was to:

prepare schedules for the works to be tendered

place contracts for the works

and

maintain cost control of the budget throughout the project.

With over 20 years experience working within higher education and with the University of Sussex we have the knowledge and skills required in delivering projects on time and budget in this sector.
