In today's challenging and complex economic climate, Clients often have need of a single point of contact to guide them through the construction process which allows them to remain focussed on their core business and not be distracted by their development needs.
The Project Manager acts as the Client's representative understanding the Client's business and aspirations, together with a detailed knowledge of the construction industry. Acting as a conduit between the Client, professional team and constructor, the Project Manager has to be a fast and effective communicator, facilitator and motivator. The key to successfully initiating a project is to fully understand all facets of the Client's business, and the appointed Project Manager from MacConvilles will need to know how things operate and elicit detailed briefs from all the Client's departments and sections. The Project Manager will carry out option and risk appraisals to establish the best way forward for the Client's business, whether new build, refurbishment or maintenance of existing facilities. With their multi-disciplinary background, our Project Management team understand all the functions and roles of the construction team members and will ensure a smooth interlocking of the parts each has to play. We establish the best method of procurement for the individual project and with our experience of Partnering, Design and Build and Traditional Contracts, we can advise which of these arrangements are right for a Client's particular circumstance. Throughout the pre-construction, construction and handover phases, our Project Managers will, with their multi-disciplinary background, pro-actively control the whole process ensuring that the Client's goals of time, cost, quality and function are achieved.
