Connor’s Court Multi-use Games Area, Rottingdean

What it is

Connor’s Court is a new multi-use games area (MUGA) constructed on the site of a former open air swimming pool on the undercliff at Rottingdean in East Sussex.

The facility comprises an all weather sports court with 5-a-side football, basketball, cricket and two mini Brazilian football pitches for younger children.

What we did

MacConvilles provided Building Surveying services, taking the initial ideas and obtained Planning Permission for the scheme.  Using this, a detailed specification was prepared against which the works were managed and overseen on site.

The ball court is located in what can be an aggressive seafront environment leading almost directly on to the beach.  The surface and materials for the court have been carefully chosen to provide the best long lasting products that can be found.
